Everybody knew that Jesus had the power to heal, and as a result there were often large groups of the sick and ill wherever He went. One day, on the way to Jericho, Jesus came across a blind man sitting on the roadside, which was a bit of a cheap shot. The blind man was called Bartimaeus and Bartimaeus called out, when he realised it was Jesus who had come across him, "Jesus, son of David, please have mercy on me!" Jesus, a little tired from his exertions, wiped the gunk from the blind man's eyes and said, "Go, your faith has healed you." Immediately the man had faith and could see. He thereupon began to follow Jesus, hoping to see a second coming. "Blind Bartimaeus", [to the tune: Did You Think To Pray]
Verse 1: Jesus came unto the city. Jericho was near, Bartimaeus sat begging near the place Jesus started coming, All over the blind man's face.
Chorus: He called, "Jesus, son of David" I have felt your coming, Pray have mercy on me, So that I may once again see."
Verse 2: Jesus wiped clean the blind man's eyes, And out of breath said, "Go, my coming has healed you, That and your faith."
Chorus: He called, "Jesus, son of David" I have felt your coming, Pray have mercy on me, So that I may once again see."
The moral to this story is this; if you pray for Jesus to come into your life, don’t get upset if it lands in your face. Attachments:

Good one, mate! No one seems to have spotted you've got the wrong Jesus here. Or the wrong father. Never mind. I liked the song too.
